A. Memorandum of Association (MOA)
THE WEST BENGAL SOCIETIES REGISTRATION ACT 1961 [West Bengal Act XXVI of 1961] MEMORANDUM OF JHARGRAM RAJ COLLEGE PHYSICS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
1. Name of the Society: The Name of the Association shall be “Jhargram Raj College Physics Alumni Association” and from now on referred to as “JRCPAA” in short.
2. Office of the Association: The Association shall maintain its registered office at the nearby guest room of Jhargram Raj College Physics Department, First Floor, P.O. & Dist.-Jhargram, Pin -721507, West Bengal and function from this office as may be decided by the Executive Committee of the Association.
3. Institute: Institute referred to in the Memorandum of Associations and Regulations shall mean the Department of Physics, Jhargram Raj College, Jhargram, Pin -721507, West Bengal, India or any subsequently modified name of the above Institute.
4. Aims & Objectives: The aims of the association shall be the enhancement of educational, social, and cultural development through lectures, symposia, conventions, workshops, literature, cultural programs, different kinds of community services and awareness camp, exchange programmes for the members and the students of Department of Physics, Jhargram Raj College. The functions and objects of the society will remain restricted within the meaning of West Bengal Societies Registration Act 1961 irrespective of any object mentioned in the present document in agreement to the said section.
The income and properties of the society whatsoever derived or obtained shall be applied solely towards the promotion of the objects of the association, and no portion thereof shall be paid to or divided amongst any of its members by way of profits.
5. The management of the affairs of the association shall be vested in its Executive Committee, which will act as the Governing Body of the association.
6. The name, address, and designation of the Members of the Executive Committee: The very first executive committee which was formed on dated 22.12.2016, was restructured during the last Alumni meet on dated 21.12.2019. The details of the said committee can be found in the executive committee page.
